Fragilis  

During the COVID-19 lockdown, when spending most of our time indoors had become the new norm, our growing disconnection from nature had never been so apparent. We increasingly forget how beautiful and fragile nature is and do not appreciate its complex and delicate composition. Fragilis focuses on complex floral textures and patterns with the primary use of sheer materials such as silk organza and tulle to highlight nature's vulnerability. Combining pastel hues with hints of metallics also emphasises the feeling of sanity and biophilia in the built environment. The application is a women’s luxury fashion collection that will maintain longevity by producing durable, high-quality products that will withstand the rapid pace of constantly changing trends, aiding sustainable innovation.
